Overview

Advocates provides high-quality, individualized, and intensive support services to children and young adults who have been diagnosed with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges. By listening deeply to children and families, we are able to tailor our services to each individual’s needs.

Partnering with families, early intervention centers, and school systems, we develop and improve the child’s skill set and reduce behaviors that interfere with learning.

Our services employ the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), an evidence-based practice that teaches skills that children need to live as independently as possible. Our ABA Services are provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who are licensed practitioners. They oversee a team of skilled paraprofessional behavior therapists.

Some of ABA’s tools and strategies include positive reinforcement, discrete trial training, incidental teaching, task analysis, and shaping. Our goal is to understand your story and your needs in order to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.
