Overview

Advocates offers free, virtual peer support groups via Zoom. These include mental health support groups, as well as social and recreational groups. Facilitated by members of the Advocates peer support team, these groups are open to anyone in the community, not just people served by Advocates. Participation is confidential.

Important Information

  • All groups are peer-run, non-clinical, and free to all without any referral or payment needed.   
  • As peer support groups, these groups are not open to students, clinicians, or media to observe or for any purpose other than to engage in peer support for personal growth and benefit. 
  • Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
  • All groups are a welcoming space for all people including, but not limited to, people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, and religions.        
  • Groups are one hour long unless noted otherwise and are in Massachusetts time (Eastern Standard Time).

Peer run support group for those who have lived experience with suicide, suicidal ideation or have been affected by such. We strive to provide an atmosphere free of stigma, clinical repercussions or observation.
