The MetroWest Legislative Advocacy Coalition is accepting nominations for the 2022 MetroWest Outstanding Human Service Professional Awards in memory of Bill Taylor.
Nominations will be accepted for any Direct Service Worker or Team who:
- Has primary responsibility for the direct support of people receiving services in the MetroWest Area
- Goes “above and beyond” and does whatever it takes to support those served
- Is a tireless advocate for people receiving services
- Is innovative and creative
- Has a demonstrated commitment to a career in human service
Nominations should include the name of the person or team and why they stand out. Please include a story that exemplifies how the person or team meets this criteria.

The MetroWest Human Services Advocacy Coalition is a consortium of consumers, providers, community Board members, community agencies, community leaders, organizations and family and friends of human services in the greater MetroWest area. The Coalition advocates for the necessary resources to provide quality professional human services to enhance the quality of life of all of the people of MetroWest.
Bill Taylor was Advocates’ visionary and dedicated leader for more than 33 years. He passed away in August 2013 after a battle with cancer. Bill was a tireless advocate for staff. This award was created to honor him and to recognize the qualities he most valued in direct service workers.
