FRAMINGHAM — A local nonprofit will receive grant funding to improve the website of the Autism Alliance of MetroWest.

Attorney General Maura Healey announced Monday that Framingham-based Advocates, Inc., will receive a $30,000 grant to enhance its support services for families with autism.

According to the Attorney General’s Office, the organization applied for grant funding to overhaul the website of the Autism Alliance, which partnered with Advocates, Inc. in 2009.

The alliance works to increase public awareness about autism and provides information, education and support to families in the region, according to the website.
